November is the month of Martinje - celebration of Feast Day of St. Martin who is considered the patron saint of wine growers. In celebration of Martinje, wine-tasting sessions are held in wine cellars throughout Istria, with plenty of tasting session for wine lovers who visit Istria.  Wine tasting events are accompanied by other gourmet events, including truffles and olive oil.

• Martinje - St. Martin (November 9 to 11): Feast day of St. Martin, the patron saint of wine growers.
